Birthdays

Collin is now 9 months old. Its really crazy to look at him and think that he is really that old. Still not crawling or walking on his own. He likes to stand by our couch and walk back and forth, but he'll really only do it if I'm not in the room. If I am, he yells and screams until I pick him up. So now its pretty funny to when I try to sneak around the house so that he won't see me getting something from the kitchen counter since you can see everything from every room in the house... Anyway. He doesn't have any teeth yet either. He's been real cuddly lately, he hasn't been feeling real great. I've also started giving him more table foods, which he hates. He breaks out in a rash and wheezes when I give him graham crackers, and his whole face goes red when he has anything with milk in it. I'm not too surprised since all his cousins on my side and some on Chases side have food allergies. But its still a struggle to find something he likes that won't kill him...

Both mine and Chase's birthday's are this month. As I've gotten older, birthdays have just kind of become another day. My mom always got us a birthday cereal, and we could have whatever for dinner that night. But its just not as magical as when your little. Since I've married Chase, he has really tried to make my birthday a big deal (and I've tried to make his a big deal as well.). So all his effort has paid off because this year I'm excited for my birthday. Chase has kept my presents a surprise so far, and he only has a few weeks to go. My birthday falls on a Sunday this year, so it will be nice to have Chase home for the day, and his parents and sister with her baby will be driving out from Arizona and will get here that day as well. It should be a fun week with birthdays and our anniversary :)
