Halloween

Landon was a bat, he was SOOO cute and his face looked super fat

Our vampire family minus our bat. He fell asleep before we got dressed.

Collin looked crazy with black hair. As long as he had chocolate chips in his mouth he stood still for me to spray it both Friday for Chase's work party and Saturday for trick-or-treating

We had lots of fun going trick-or-treating. Collin was not the best about getting his costume on, he just wanted to play trains instead. So we had a little bit of a melt down. But once it was on and we were out trick-or-treating he did good. The best part was the people would always lower the basket of candy to let him pick and he would ALWAYS pick something with peanuts. Butterfinger, Peanut m&m's, Snickers. So the first house I almost said- wait, lets pick something different! but I was worried the people would think I would be trying to pick his candy off of what I liked. And since Chase and I would be eating most of it anyway, I just let it be.

Other than that we are just trying to get enough sleep to last though the day with two boys who just have a hard time sleeping. Landon just keeps waking up and has a really hard time sleeping starting around 4 until about 7:30. He'll be awake for an hour or so, then sleep for 45 minutes, than wake up again. I usually bring him up to my mom, which I am so thankful for, but I feel so bad that 7 months after he's born I still am dealing with him not sleeping.
Collin on the other hand has a chronic cough that comes every year about this time and lasts for the next 7 or 8 months. So that wakes him up during the night and he comes and gets in bed with us. He also usually wakes up for the day by 6 at the latest, but I guess that means he might fall asleep earlier now because he's so tired. I guess we'll see how this years cough plays out.

Tractor ride

There was a great pumpkin patch that we went to. They had free tractor rides (we did two) and a small hay maze and a corn...thing. It was a pit with a bunch of corn in it. It was really fun.
Chase and the loving kangaroo

The cute baby goats. I want them.

Stu and his kids burying Collin in corn

-update-
Chase LOVES his job. The work is something he enjoys and he really gets along with the people he works with. Its been great.
This post is way overdue. We have been busy busy. Hopefully we'll have some good pictures from Halloween- Collin is getting sick so hopefully he'll be over it by Saturday. I have been decorating the boys room since we're going to be here for a while. Its super cute. All sorts of animals and cute stuff. I'll take pictures when I finish up. I'll be doing several posts over the next few days, so check back for fun pictures!

Finally!!!

Chase got a job!! He got the call yesterday letting him know his first day would be on Tuesday. This will be a great job. He applied for it the day after we got home from Arizona and it has just been a good experience for him interviewing for this job. He found out that he knows a few people who work at Propriety Solutions and has really liked the people he has met so far. It comes with benefits (yea!) and is here in Provo (yea!).
Also, on Monday we found a crib for a really good price and decided to buy it for Landon. He hasn't been sleeping at all and I felt like it was because he was still sleeping in a play pen, which isn't very comfortable. The first nap was like 2 hours long, and then the 2nd nap was 2 hours, and then he slept all night (he woke up once but I just put his plug in his mouth and he went back to sleep). We also moved him into Collins room, and Collin just sleeps right though him crying.

Anyway, I feel like things are working out just how they should, and we are so blessed. It could have been a week or more before we found out about this job. But now we will be able to pay our bills and have the money we need to drive to Arizona for Thanksgiving. Prayers are answered.

Jacob

I get to post these first because I have the computer that has the pictures on it. I took Jacob's 6 month pictures today. He is so cute. Now I'm going to have to take more pictures of Landon. I would take pictures of Collin to but there is no way he will sit still enough for any pictures right now.

He was getting kind of tired... but looked so cute!

Witches

Collin decided tonight that he is scared of witches. Great. I have actually been a little worried about Halloween this year. I'm not sure that Collin is really scared of these things. But he says he is. We've tried to be careful of what we've shown him that is about Halloween so that he hasn't gotten too scared. But I have shown him some shows that explain what we do on Halloween, which do have witches. Ug. I guess we'll see how Halloween goes this year. I'm going to post some pictures tomorrow of Landon's Halloween costume. It is fantastic.

So frustrating

http://www.abc4.com/content/news/state/story/Gay-rights-organization-calls-on-Elder-Packer-to/b4DnYMyhWE6kmYEABmndxA.cspx

They said on the news that as of 10:00 Monday night over 400 people had signed up to come to the protest. This is insane. I'm trying to keep my anger under control. It's hard to see these people who are so wrong to attack Elder Packer.

Pictures of Landon

Took some pictures of Landon finally. Ummm, he is ridiculously cute. Now if only we could get him to sleep at night...
