Ok, so randomly Collin will have days or nights when he wakes up from his nap just screaming like he's having a nightmare. As soon as I pick him up and kind of wake him up, he stops crying and just looks around. As he's gotten older he's done it less, but he still does it every so often. Anyone had any experiences like this? I'm just wondering if he really is maybe having nightmares, or if he's just uncomfortable, and I'm also wondering if he'll grow out of it.
Thanks for any help...

Hey, Mason has days and nights like that too. It's just a stage that they go through they should grow out of it. I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's normal... I know I only have one kid, but when he started doing this I asked about it too and that is what I was told. Just be grateful that he calms down so quickly. There are some babies that have night terrors and just scream for hours and there is nothing you can do to comfort them.
i have read that its normal too, and sometimes you have to let them just cry for a minute to see if they are still dreaming... check out babycenter.com its awesome! you can search on any questions you have and they always have good articles on what you might be looking for! plus it tells you about what your baby might be learning every week and activities to play with them i love it!
I think that is normal. Gorden has done that several times. it seems like they're screaming in their sleep, except with their eyes open. We'd just sit and hold them when that happened and usually it didn't take too long before he'd come to and calm down. Seems like we probably were talking to him the whole time to and so that is comforting to hear your voice when they "wake up" good luck!! seriously babies are a mystery!
