Pies

This year for Thanksgiving we went out to Phoenix to be with Chase's family. It was super fun and WAY colder then I thought. My uncle Ray made fun of me because I showed up at his house in a short sleeve shirt and he was wearing his winter coat. I had no idea it was going to be that cold! I didn't bring jackets for anyone so we had to buy some while we were there.

We also went to see my aunt and uncle because we had some car trouble and since they lived close by we took it to their mechanic. It worked out well and we got home without any more problems. I don't think we've ever gone to see Chase's family without having car troubles. :) Chase and I just laugh though.
Here are some pictures of my pies. I made a pumpkin, apple, and some small pecan bits. They all turned out really good, even though I made them before I left so they had to survive the whole trip there. I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pictures of the kids doing much. Our brother in law and Chase's dad made a ramp for hot wheel cars and did a bunch of races. Collin was in heaven. Landon loved being able to just crawl around and find things to eat and chew on.
Things have been going good around here. We've been keeping busy. We put up the tree on Monday and tried to put a few decorations up as well, but there isn't a lot of room. I got some more pictures of the boys taken so I'll try to put those up soon.

yummy looking pies! I did the same thing last year when we went home to stay at Ryan's house for Christmas. I forgot to pack myself a coat! (But I knew it would be cold....don't know what I was thinking!)
