Chase's first response when he saw the title:
"are you going to talk about my back?"
Nope. I was going to talk about how much I dislike my hair. On my head. I go though lots of phases with my hair, but for the last 3 or so years I have about a week or so where I like it, then I have about 3 months where I don't. I wish I could find an easy cut that I could just wash, put a little product on it, and let it go. I try having long hair (to my shoulders) but then I only wear it in a ponytail. So I cut it short so I actually have to do it, and it turns out that I hate doing it everyday. I have to wash, blow dry and straighten every day. With a one-year-old that doesn't always happen. Also, I usually am not happy when the end result after spending 45 minutes on it anyway. Right after I got married I had my mom give me a perm which was ok, but my hair just doesn't hold curl very well, so it worked for about a month, then it died a slow, painful death.
Just so you know. Chase does not have a hairy back.

I always think your hair looks cute. I liked how it was in high school.
Chase is funny. We're best friends. Except he probably won't be my friend after he reads what I have to say. I think you should try a short a-line cut where it's pretty short in the back and a little longer in the front, but still short enough that all you have to do is blow dry it. You can't really do the inbetween deal - it either needs to be long enough to put into a pony tail or short enough that all you have to do is blowdry it. The end
Hey, at least your not talking about YOUR back, right?! JK. I have the same hair problem. If you ever solve it, let me in on the secret.
