Junk junk junk
Why is it that some people have such a hard time throwing things away? Between moving from my parents house when Chase and I got married, moving to our first apartment and now living at Wymount, I still have so much junk. Its mostly stuff from high school. Stuff that I haven't looked at or used since Chase and I got married. I keep telling myself that every year I need to go through my stuff and if I haven't used it or looked at it in the past year (with exception of yearbooks and such) that I need to throw it out. I started thinking about this after I found a box full of letters from friends while they were on their missions. I thought, why do I still have these? One problem I have is I bought some big storage boxes that I just filled with "stuff". I go through them thinking I will clean this box out, and then I pull out a little flip book I made and think, what if my kids want to see it??!! But lets be honest. No one wants to see my flip book. But we all have our little things. Chase likes to hold on to tee-shirts and ties. :)

Hey I agree - but part of it is sentimental! (kind of in a way) It took me 10 years to get rid of my high school "notes" and stuff! You're doing great! Maybe you can make Chase a T-shirt quilt with all his shirts! Good luck with "parting" with your stuff! It feels great having space though!
My mom is starting to clean out their house in NC now that my parents are empty nesters. She keeps calling and asking if it's ok if she throws something away of mine. I find that if I JUST have a picture of the object, I'm ok :) That way I can still have the memories, but pictures take up a lot less space. And I can even throw the pics away later (or the digital files) if I want to.
I totally know how it goes! I feel the same way all the time!
