Things to think about

The last few weeks I have been thinking a lot about how to teach Collin and Landon the importance of being respectful to their stuff without putting too much importance about the actual stuff.  Example: The other day Collin had some vaseline on a sore and touched it because it was slimy.  After he touched it, he wiped his finger on the couch.  My normal reaction would be to either ignore it (it's just a couch, we can wipe it off, no big deal) or yell, a lot.  I've decided neither of these are the right choices.  I need to be more in the middle- talking to him in a soft, kind voice and explaining why we don't wipe stuff on the couch.  Even if he freaks out, or acts like he is ignoring me, if I continue to respond like this I know he'll get it.  It's still hard though.

Here is our life in pictures :)  Mostly May but some in June

Landon after his dental work.  It took at long time for him to wake up enough for them to let us leave, and then he was pretty tipsy for several hours afterwords.

Collin graduated preschool at the beginning of May.  He LOVED his class and did such a great job.

Collin and his preschool teacher.  She was wonderful.

We went to get snow cones by Days a few weeks ago and the boys got crazy messy but liked it.  It was the first time I had gone this year and I was shocked at how huge they are!

We let Collin stay up until 10:30 to see the super moon and then we watched video's on youtube about the mars rover.  He loves the mars rover.

We go to Baskin Robbins a lot.  Like 2 or 3 times a month.  We love it.

The boys have the transformers from the show Rescue Bots and love them.  It is the best investment on toys I have made in a long time.  They will play pretend with them for hours, and they haven't lost any of them yet.

Friday night before fathers day I took the boys on a walk by BYU to take this picture for a fathers day present I made for Chase.  I typed up a questionnaire for the boys to answer about Chase, and over all they gave good answers with a few funny one's mixed in there.
