2 1/2 weeks already?!?

So there are times that I think it's pretty weird that it's already been 2 and half weeks, and other times that I think it's only been 2 and half weeks!  The family went home yesterday morning and they said the babies did great on the flight back to California.
I feel really good.  I'm still sore, and have to remind myself to take it easy every now and then.  Even though I have lost all the weight I gained (I take no credit for this- I have been as shocked as everyone else, especially after I had Landon I never did lose all the weight) my incision is still tender so I'm still in maternity pants, which is just fine.  Not complaining.  My milk is also drying up without any complications, although it was still painful.

I was able to go see the babies twice before they left and the parents invited us out to LA to visit whenever we wanted.  They hired the most amazing nanny that I became good friends with who has promised to send pictures whenever I want.  We went to say goodbye on Monday night and both babies were awake for a little while- it was the first time I got to see them with their eye's open.  So insanely cute!

Many people have asked me if I have felt a sense of "loss".  Honestly, I really haven't.  I was so happy to come home to Collin and Landon.  It has felt so...normal here.  We are just doing our normal things, and everyone is happy.  I have felt so peaceful.  These boys will always have such a special place in my heart, but I never felt a feeling of wanting to keep them.
I have really been so grateful for all the support and help I have received.  My mom and sister have been so helpful with cleaning and helping with the boys and just letting me vent about how I was feeling.  And the rest of my family was so supportive- I was so grateful for all the prayers and thoughts.  I've also been so thankful for the support from my ward and neighbors.  Everyone was so kind.  It made such a difference.  I know it was something I was supposed to do, and I was so grateful for the chance to do it.

(so cute, huh?)

That's pretty amazing! I've been closely following your blog these last 9 months. What a beautiful gift.
