Yesterday we went to 7 Peaks and when I got home my left eye was hurting a little. Within a few hours it was itchy and had lots of goop. At 9:30 I called my sister in law who told me it sounded just like pink eye. Really? Did I have to get pink eye just as I'm getting over my cold? And I'm worried about giving it to Collin since he is still sick...
When I woke up this morning my eye was so swollen, I could hardly open it. So I went to the doctor today and he told me I do have pink eye. Interestingly enough- ear infections and pink eye are caused by the same bacteria and since Collin is already on medication for that it should keep him from getting pink eye.
My biggest issue is that I can't drive because I can't wear my contacts for the next 2 days. And since I'm legal blind even with my glasses, driving is very much out of the question.
I was going to add picture of my swollen eye- but I decided nobody wanted to see it...

Oh man Jenny - I'm sorry. I've had that and it is not fun. They say you have to throw away all your mascara and anything that has touched your eye. Do you have drops? Hope you and Collin are all better by next week. Traveling is no fun when you are sick.
