Positive!! I did two at home pregnancy tests and then had a blood test done yesterday at the clinic here in Sandy and everything came back positive! I will have an ultrasound done in 3 weeks to see how many little guys are in there. As of today I am 3 weeks 6 days along, so every Saturday I turn a week. I keep waiting for the sickness to hit, I never know how soon it will happen. With Collin I got sick at 7 weeks, Landon it was 5, so who knows with this one.
I think the hardest thing so far has been the pain from the shots I get. When I was doing research on surrogacy a few years ago I read a blog by a women who had done it a few times and she talked very honestly about the shots and how hard was. So I knew I would have to get at least one or two shots every day for this. And usually when I get the shot it doesn't hurt- it takes about 12 hours before it gets sore. And then 12 hours later I get another shot in the same area..... it just all adds up. I have found that my right side is more sensitive then my left, so it hurts right when I get the shot for several days. Yesterday Kim told me to use the ThermaCare heat wraps which helped a lot last night- it put heat on my shots and pressure. I didn't realize how much it was helping until I took it off.
Well, other then feeling super tired because neither of the boys are sleeping at night right now, things are going good here. I think we're going to take Landon off naps- he sleeps for about an hour and a half for his nap and then stays up until 10 at night, wakes up at night, and then wakes up for the day by 7:30. Its just not working out very well. :)
