So last night I decided to go through our toys. We have 6 boxes of toys under our TV that are just a mess. The boys hardly ever play with them because they are all full of junk. Its hard the find the good toys among all the knick knacks. I emptied two boxes and put Collins toys in one box, baby toys in another (just to have around, not that we are expecting.), Landon's toys in one, and one for balls. Seemed easy enough for me. Didn't think through what would happy when Landon's box and Collin's box come out at the same time. Toy mix #1.
Then I had a bag of toys to give to DI. As soon as the boys woke up this morning they saw the bag, emptied it, and would only play with those toys. Toy mix #2.
Sometimes I forget that Landon is only 15 months, not 3 like Collin. If he were older this would have worked much better. I guess I'll try again in a few years... :)

Make them play with their toys on opposite sides of the room and put up a removable wall so they can't even see each other when they're playing. That'll solve lots of problems and won't even create any problems in the future
